What is maturity?

What is maturity? Not being excited. Not being happy. Not celebrating little things. Not watching cartoons. And simply just killing your inner child and not living your life.
Then i guess i wanna stay immature because i love watching cartoons i love celebrating every moment. I get excited for little things۔I love living this life. It's not that my life is a perfect fairytale and it's all glitters and unicorns. It is just that i wanna live. I've learned that life is too short to let bad days take over on our lives. 
And if some people think that they not caring about anything and not living is cool and maturity then oh boy you clearly have mistaken coolness and maturity with something else. What is maturity?
